Missionaries Tom and Jen Atwater are no strangers to seeing the suffering of children on the streets of Medellin, Colombia. Nor are they strangers to seeing miraculous things happen when God decides to do something through them.
One day in 2018 Jen was driving the streets of Medellin praying about the ministry God had given them. Providentially, she took a wrong turn and went down a street where she was not familiar. Without warning, a homeless man flagged her down and told her, “That is the house you are looking for.” He pointed at a building and then walked off!
Without their knowledge, the Lord had been preparing that very building for Tom and Jen’s new ministry called 911 Life. Through another series of miracles, they purchased the vacant building and remodeled it. Today, it hosts a multidimensional ministry 911 Family, 911 Youth, 911 Worship, 911 Languages, 911 Leadership and ITEC that reaches thousands of children and families in the area.
