Wayne Sneed is the Founder/President/CEO of Orphanos. His passion for God’s glory, his gregarious temperament, and his extensive global experience make him a great fit to be our fearless leader. In Wayne’s career he has lived in Iran, personally led 100+ short term mission teams to countries in 5 of the 7 continents, authored a book on short term missions, helped author the Standards of Excellence and served as Chairman of the Board of the accrediting organization, personally traveled in 75 nations, is an ordained minister and musician. When Wayne’s not traveling, he often is found in our office telling stories of his crazy adventures with God on planet earth. An animal lover at heart (ask him about getting bit by Ocelots, Piranha or about eating live Mohohoi), his photos of critters around the world are only outmatched by his photos of himself with children from people groups all over the earth. An inspirational speaker for mission conferences and training seminars, he has also provided consulting for churches, mission agencies, and Christian colleges. Wayne and his wife Angela have been married since 1999 and have two amazing daughters.
