Project Description
Dan and Gina Weston were married in Sept 1991 and love serving the Lord together! They have been a part of many ministries over the years but have almost always worked with kids and teens. They have been working in Quito, Ecuador since 2018. They founded the “Light in the Darkness Foundation” serving children who are at risk of being trafficked. Here, the foundation provides a place to learn about true love, which is the love of Jesus Christ. Their earthly goal is the prevention of kids from being trafficked.
Current operations include an education center where the children have access to computers and internet to complete their schooling requirements. The Foundation provides a campus pastor, registered teachers as tutors, psychological care, medical care assistance, breakfast and lunch for the children and their families.
Zachary, their oldest child, graduated from the University of West Alabama and is now working in Alabama as an Athletic Trainer. Their oldest daughter, Victoria; graduated from Liberty University. She and her husband are part of JAARS and are headed overseas to the mission field. Their youngest daughter, Samantha, is currently attending college in the States.
They are excited to see the Lord at work in Quito.
