Project Description

Lar Tia Edna

Lar Tia Edna is a non-profit material and financial support organization provided solely by free-willed benefactors. None of our support comes from official sources. It is located in São Paulo, the largest city in Brazil, and legally registered with local government agencies in the state of São Paulo.

Today The Home currently houses 12 children aged 6-19. It runs similarly to a regular home with only a larger number of people. We respect the individuality of each child,  their life stories, and promote a loving and cozy environment.

We currently house children and adolescents who no longer have Family Power and are awaiting adoption, so if some teenagers are not adopted, they are safe to move into adulthood with the support and preparation provided in our home.

We have explored the potential of each with technical courses such as Informatica, Hairdresser, Sports and Music, and we have volunteer support in tutoring, spiritual guidance, and psychological care so that they can address and overcome learning disabilities due to abandonment they have suffered. This support for moral, spiritual, and intellectual growth has been instrumental in shaping each other with a sense of purpose, commitment, and self-esteem that they can apply to other areas of their lives.
