Sponsor a Child
We want to offer our friends the opportunity to sponsor a child at one of our 3 partner homes and make a difference in their life. While we encourage you to build relationships with the children in the homes, we do screen and monitor those relationships because we can never be too careful these days.
If you give a financial gift, we do not let the child know that it came from you. All our giving is anonymous. You get the joy of knowing that you are making a difference in their lives.
Unlike many of the child sponsorship programs you've heard of, we don't set a price. If you feel the Lord leading you to give $100 per month, great. If what you feel led to do is $15 per month, that's great too. Whatever your gift, you will receive regular updates on the home and children though website newsletters. That helps us keep the cost down (no printing and postage expenses) and still keeps you "in the know" on happenings at the home. Remember that 100% of your gift goes to the child. We take nothing for overhead. If you are able to give a second gift to help Keep The Lights On, please do so. However, we don't want you to reduce your gift to your child for our overhead. So if you are not able to make the second gift toward overhead, please know that we are fine with that. We have operated that way for a decade.
