Busy, Busy, Busy

Hey everyone! I pray you are doing well. I have a few things to share with you since my last update. First Chris and I went to Charleston, SC for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. Charleston is full of history and historic places. We were able to visit several plantation homes, old historic homes, Fort Sumter, and much more. One thing for sure is that we did a lot of walking! I love the downtown area and Chris and I even joked about moving there. Don’t worry we aren’t moving any time soon. Second, as you know I was scheduled to have surgery on October 23rd but after they found out that my blood pressure fell really low after my last surgery they decided to perform it at the hospital. I was schedule at a surgery center before which actually made me a little nervous to begin with. I feel better that I will have it at the hospital but I hate that I have to wait. If everything goes as planned which I don’t see any reason it would not, surgery will be on November 16th. Please pray for me until then that I will continue to feel good and pray for the surgery and recovery.
November is going to be a busy month and December probably won’t be any slower. The first week of November I will be teaching at ECS Middle School on the subject of children at risk. I taught this material before to high school students which I enjoyed. Pray for the students as they are younger and the topics can be upsetting. Please pray that I teach the material to inform and not discourage or sadden the students. The second week I know I will be playing catch up in the office as well as meeting with SBEC to discuss partnering together. After that I will get to relax and cheer on the UT Vols at the Ole Miss vs UT Football game. Chris and I have tickets and I can’t wait. Then two days later I will be having surgery. I will probably spend that week recovering and then the next week is Thanksgiving! Hopefully I will be all better to enjoy the wonderful meals on Thanksgiving. I am looking forward to November but I know it will be busy. Then December comes and it will be time for The Messiah performance, organizing and sending Kards 4 Kids and Christmas! The year will be over before I know it!
I will try and update you all soon after surgery to let you know how I am doing! Thanks for all your prayers and support. Please let me know if I can pray for you as well! God bless!
Jennifer
