Praise the Lord! Sometimes you need to see the hand of our Lovely God more strongly. This last month there were a lot of things to do but in addition to my health, a little bite made things harder. However, the Lords reminded me who He is, our healer and also the one who keeps us straight and I just have to see His hand and blessing!
I currently meet the team working in the ministry each Monday mainly to organize our activities according to our monthly planning and also to train them in leadership subject and also on how to manage different situations with the children. During the last months we have been reading the book: “Purpose Driven – Leadership” by Rick Warren. I want to share with you how the Lord has given to me word for specific situations with the team. I feel like “wow”, sometimes you have no words to encourage or to let them know about the importance of our attitude and character when you are serving the Lord and I have found the right word at the right time. We have been blessed with this and I am sure also the team, the Lord speaks to us through this book.
I would like to ask your support in prayer for the plans for the future in our ministry. I am pretty sure that the Lord has a lot of good and great plans; we all should be very aligned with His purpose and planning. The children are growing and there are more and different needs to cover. That is good it means that we also are growing, so everything should fit.
I continue studying in the Bible School “Rhema”, here in Leticia. It has been awesome for my personal growing, definitely the Lord always has more and more things to teach us, that is the “well of water”, John 4:14. I am so happy doing this and I saw how the time has passed, it takes 3 years to be graduated and I am starting the third year, so in 6 months approximately I will be graduated, praise the Lord.
Please keep me in your prayers on the following:
- I am asking my pension. As I started working since I was very young, according to the Colombian law I can ask for my pension no matter if I have not completed the age. I already send the documents and I should wait for approval.
- My daughter Ana Maria who is in Curitiba, Brazil, is now looking for a place to live. This should be close to the university and according with her budget, a place provided by the Lord.
- The needs here in the ministry: we need to improve the facility of our restaurant. It is the current kitchen of the house that is more a family kitchen, but we need something according to our operation and number of children. We also need to change the set of dishes for the children.
- Please also pray for the next Christmas time, that the children enjoy this time knowing that Jesus Christ was born with a Purpose Driven to each of us.
Thank you for your support, your love and prayers,
With love,
Lucy
