"as the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine,no more can ye, except ye abide in me "John 5:14

Being here in the Amazon is a very exiting experience and working in this ministry too. I was in Bogota having time with my grandson while my daughter was outside the country but in La Aljaba, Leticia, many things happened:

Diana one of our little girls broke an arm and Ana Cecilia our volunteer who came from Peru to help at the home broke one of her legs, those things made me feel bad, I am now here and the Lord showed me the great responsibility I have! They have been recovering very well, praise the Lord!

Lucy and the kids on a hot amazonian night. The children are now involved in two new projects: the GMA musical group, they have been very enthusiastic with this; and the investigation project, we were in the "opening" at the National University with the schools of the city in the event our children were so gracious, our stand had a lot of visitors who asked many things and our children did very well, somebody said: your children are precious! We put in a frame the part of Psalm 127 that talks about our name because surely visitors will ask what "the Aljaba" was, it gave us the opportunity to talk about the Bible, we did it and also we shared "we are Christians"!

I highly appreciate your support, the ministry to the children is so important since the children have a lot of risks. The Lord has been touching the heart of the authorities and they are showing interest in this subject. I was called by the Welfare Office to be part of a committee against mistreatment to the children. Representatives of the main entities will be there. The name of the Lord will be exalted!
