The College Fund
Our partner homes usually provide something more than just a safe haven from the streets. They provide a spiritual foundation and a practical education for the children as well. Several of our children have grown up in the homes and performed marvelously in their studies.
Some have received scholarships or been given gifts to go to college and they have received their degrees.
- Lucas was sponsored through Agricultural School and is now working in that field and providing for himself.
- Priscilla was sponsored to get a degree in Communications and has been not only helping out at the orphan home where she grew up, but also just recently took a job as a media representative.
- Romilda was sponsored through Beautician School, and is not working in that field (and providing free hair cuts to her many siblings at the orphan home!).
- Martha was sponsored through college for a degree in Hotel Hospitality, went on to receive a Masters in Economics and Event Planning, and moved to Paris France where she now works for a major hotel chain.
Imagine. Once a street orphan or abandoned by their parents and now a college-educated, Christian believer making a difference!
Unfortunately we have several students who cannot attend university for lack of funds.
They have passed the college entrance requirements but we do not have the money to send them to college.
Please consider a gift to send one of these bright children to college to complete their educational training.
