Pity weeps, but compassion seeks.

There are 6 billion people on planet earth. There are 2 billion children 14 and under. At any given time, 85% of the world’s children are “at risk” of dying from starvation, disease or violence. Millions of those “at risk” are orphaned because of abandonment, AIDS, war, and other physical and social tragedies that destroy families.

Let us not merely pity these children. Let us see them individually. Let us seek them out.
